Preparing a repayment representation

A credible repayment proposal should be grounded in records and realistic capacity.

01. List obligations accurately

Prepare a lender-wise register showing claimed dues, verified payments, instalment dates and disputed components.

02. Assess available cash flow

Distinguish confirmed income from anticipated receipts. Do not commit funds that are uncertain or already allocated to essentials.

03. State what you are requesting

Identify whether you are requesting a statement, reconciliation, revised schedule or review of charges.

04. Avoid unverified promises

A proposed date or amount is not an approved arrangement until the lender accepts the terms.

05. Document the response

Retain lender replies, revised terms, payment confirmations and final closure documentation.

06. Understand the limits

No consultant can guarantee waivers, stop lawful recovery, alter credit bureau reporting or obtain a court order.
