Our role, responsibilities and limitations.
Important information about BorrowerFirst and the services operated by Fortius Global Consulting.
1. Identity and independence
BorrowerFirst (borrowerfirst.in) is the public-facing brand of Fortius Global Consulting, an independent borrower assistance, documentation and administrative coordination consultancy. We are not a law firm, enrolled advocate, lender, NBFC, recovery agency, government department, RBI-authorised grievance authority or court.
2. Services we encourage
We encourage accurate disclosures, timely written communication, responsible repayment of legally enforceable dues, preservation of evidence, protection of privacy, and use of appropriate grievance or legal channels. We do not encourage debt evasion, false allegations, concealment of assets or obstruction of lawful proceedings.
3. Professional boundaries
We organise records, prepare factual correspondence based on client instructions, provide administrative complaint assistance and coordinate follow-ups. We do not provide court representation or hold ourselves out as practising law. Any legal opinion, pleading, filing, interim-relief application or court appearance must be independently evaluated and undertaken by an appropriately enrolled advocate. The competent court alone decides whether relief is granted.
4. Referrals
Where appropriate, we may help identify and coordinate with independent advocates or other professionals. Such professionals exercise independent judgment, and their terms, fees and responsibilities are separate and subject to client approval. Referral is not a guarantee of suitability or success.
5. No guaranteed outcomes
We cannot compel any lender, police authority, regulator or court to act. We do not guarantee extensions, interest waivers, settlement terms, cessation of all recovery contact, injunctions, favourable credit reporting or loan closure. Lenders retain lawful recovery rights and borrowers remain responsible for enforceable obligations.
6. Fees and scope
Consultancy starts from ₹50,000 plus applicable GST; final fees vary by loan count, complexity, duration and agreed scope. Additional advocate, court, statutory and third-party expenses are disclosed separately and require prior approval. The written engagement governs service duration, deliverables, payment, cancellation and refund terms.
7. Client information and privacy
Clients must provide accurate information and authorise communications. Financial and identity information should only be submitted through approved secure channels. We aim to collect only necessary information and apply appropriate safeguards; details of actual data processing must be set out in the executed privacy notice and engagement agreement.
8. Educational website
Website material is general information, not case-specific legal or financial advice. Regulatory requirements can change, and individual outcomes depend on the facts. Seek independent qualified advice for legal or financial decisions.
